Another problem for those who procrastinate is precisely the fact that we always seek perfection. That means a drag on yourselves time for days, weeks, months, or even years rather than take action.

Plan everything early, outline the whole path, represent a sort of idea of ​​perfection, a parachute that we would always like to have. The truth isn’t like that; we have to clash with the unknown. It’s reasonable we’re all afraid, take the first step, get into the chaos.

Furthermore, not having definite ideas very often leads us to remain paralysed, incapable to overcome procrastination. We delegate everything to our future, “It doesn’t need all this haste”, “no problem, I’ll do it later, okay?” We’re incredibly convinced that you don’t need all this time to do what’s necessary. Although, in some cases, it’s true it isn’t always the rule. I have known several people who work much better under pressure; other times, it can be a stress source.

Maybe this person will be hungry or want to eat a few more portions. However, feeling satisfied with what has done reinforces the habit and prevents the person from procrastinating.

Take time to recover energy.
